GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A Brunswick man has been arrested and charged with murder after a man was found shot and killed Friday night, according to the Glynn County Police Department.

Officers responded around 9:36 p.m. Sept. 25 to a residence in the Old Cypress Mill Road area after a report of a man who had been shot.
Officers and Glynn County Fire Rescue personnel found the man suffering from gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police identified the victim as 48-year-old Roy Harris II of Brunswick.

During the investigation, detectives interviewed 47-year-old Jonathan True of Brunswick, along with several witnesses.
True was arrested and charged with two counts of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes.
True was taken to the Glynn County Detention Center and released into the custody of detention staff.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
