FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A man wanted on multiple charges in two counties was discovered in an unusual hiding spot, according to the sheriff’s office.

Floyd County deputies found and arrested fugitive Jeremiah Stanley. Authorities said Stanley was discovered trying to hide under a bed when deputies took him into custody.
According to the sheriff’s office, Stanley was wanted in Floyd County for false imprisonment, first-degree burglary, sexual battery and battery.

He was also wanted in Bartow County for family violence battery, cruelty to children, probation violation stemming from a robbery charge.
“Thank you to the Polk County and Cedartown Police Departments for their assistance with safely capturing Mr. Stanley,” the sheriff’s office said.
