WARM SPRINGS, Ga. — The Warm Springs Police Chief spoke Thursday after Ofc. Chris Fisher was shot and killed in the line of duty.
He says the loss is felt in the tight-knit community, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral arrangements have been made for a Georgia officer killed in the line of duty.
Ofc. Fisher died on Tuesday night before midnight after a driver pulled up and opened fire on him.
The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Jimmie Lee Steverson, took off and was later found dead from a gunshot wound in South Carolina.
Channel 2’s Bryan Mims has learned that Fisher’s funeral will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Visitation will take place before the service starting at 12 p.m., according to Warm Springs police.
Fisher is survived by his wife and two children.
