According to the Alpharetta Police Department, the incident happened Friday at The Golf Club of Georgia off Winter Parkway.
The landscaper was injured when the golf cart overturned, but the terrain near the course’s ninth hole made it difficult for a traditional ambulance to reach him.
Alpharetta Fire Department crews brought in a specialized Mini Med vehicle, a Gator-style emergency response vehicle designed to navigate tight spaces and rough terrain.
Fire crews deployed the vehicle from the Big Creek Greenway, reached the injured worker on the golf course fairway and took him to a waiting ambulance for further medical care.

Alpharetta police, firefighters and AMR Ambulance Service all responded to the emergency.
The incident remains under investigation.
The police department also thanked members of the public who stopped to express concern for the injured worker, along with golfers and Greenway users who were patient during the temporary disruption.
“When someone needs help, getting them the care they need comes first. Thank you to everyone involved for helping make that happen,” the police department said.
