“As a former judge, council member, and mayor, Keisha believes that public service is about putting you first,” Obama said about Bottoms.
“And by voting for Jon Ossoff, we have the chance to protect voting rights, stand up for Civil Rights, and help build an economy that works for everyone,” Obama said in Ossoff ad.
Obama encouraged Georgians to make their voices heard this election.
Bottoms faces Republican nominee Rick Jackson in the 2026 Georgia gubernational election. Ossoff faces Rep. Mike Collins in the U.S. Senate race.
Former President Donald Trump and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp have endorsed Jackson and Collins.
“Congratulations to Rick Jackson, who very successfully campaigned on being “TRUMP,” and won. He will be your next Governor of Georgia. Can’t wait! President DJT," Trump wrote on Truth Social after Jackson won the nomination.
“Mike Collins and I share a commitment to making Georgia an even better place to live, work and raise a family,” Kemp said about Collins. “I’m proud to endorse Mike Collins for the U.S. Senate, and I know he’ll always put Georgia first.”
