PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Two members of a metro Atlanta police force are now without jobs after a recent audit of how the department uses its Flock Safety technology.
The audit was performed by the Peachtree City Police Department.
The department said two separate incidents involving the misuse of Flock were investigated, each flagged independently and separately.
Each officer is no longer with the department.

“In each instance, the officer involved was identified and the matter was immediately referred to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an independent criminal investigation,” the department said in a statement.
The GBI confirmed an investigation was underway but would not share the details of who was under investigation.
“Neither of the individuals involved remains employed with the Peachtree City Police Department,” according to a department spokesman.
