GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A mother and her three young children were killed Saturday morning when their mobile home caught on fire.
Gwinnett County Fire Department said crews responded to a fire off Smokecreek Parkway SW in Snellville around 2:19 a.m.
Firefighters pulled two children out from the fire and went back inside where they found a third child and their mother inside. Officials said all four victims have died.
Channel 2′s Christian Jennings spoke with the father and grandfather, who identified the mother as Isabela Martinez and the children as Alexa (6), Ashley (4) and Daniela (1).

Jennings also spoke with neighbors who were close with the Diaz family.
Yacmin Coria was asleep when she says a police officer knocked on her door. She walked outside and saw her neighbor’s home in flames.
Coria said her friend was a wonderful, loving mother.
“She was a good mom. She always takes care of her daughters, do anything for her daughters,” she said. “I have five boys and it hurts because you never know when it’s going to be your last day to be together as a family.”
Friends, neighbors and church leaders surrounded the grieving family as fire investigators worked to figure out how this happened.
Pastor Joaquin Contreras said the children’s father often attends his church. He made sure to be here so he could pray with him in person through this devastating loss.
“He’s a good guy and we are here, you know all our church, to help him, pray for him,” Contreras said. “Now is the time to be together.”
