East Point investigators told Channel 2′s Tom Jones that the shooting started when one man decided to confront another man on the sidewalk.

While speaking to Channel 2 Action News, workers at the plaza shared their reaction to yet another metro Atlanta shooting.

“I just want y’all to put the guns down. Put the guns down,” a barber from Wilcutz Barbershop said.

“I was just about to go to lunch. And I was about to come out the door but thank God I didn’t,” plaza worker Lolita Evans said. “The world done got so crazy. People shooting at all times of day. It really doesn’t matter anymore.”

The three men ran towards Sylvan Road after the shooting, police say.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact East Point Police via Facebook, Instagram or 404-559-6300.
