Channel 2 Action News was LIVE in Buckhead at the Dick’s Sporting Goods store on Peachtree Road during WSB Tonight at 11 p.m.

Proud and excited UGA fans poured into Dick’s right after the Dawgs beat TCU in Monday night’s title game in Los Angeles.

This type of win has a huge economic impact. Many Dick’s stores stayed open late so fans could get in and get the new championship gear. As soon as the bulldogs won, the new merch went onto the stands.

One fan said he wanted his kids to be the first to get the new gear.

“Love it. Back-to-back feels so good. When you wait over 40 years to get one, and you get two...it makes you want to come out and get more,” said Ned Underwood. “I wanted my kids to be the first people in Atlanta to get gear so I said I’m gonna come up here after the game and get it for them.”

So far, Underwood said he’d got two hoodies, but he was about to get a hat and some shirts and spend a lot of money like he did last year.
