TUCKER, Ga. — A manager of a DeKalb County Chinese restaurant has died following an explosion inside the business Tuesday afternoon.
It happened around 2 p.m. at the Main Moon Chinese Restaurant along Hugh Howell Road.
DeKalb County Fire Rescue Capt. Dion Bentley told Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne that some kind of cooker exploded in the kitchen.

He said that preliminarily, the explosion appears to be an accident.
“(It’s a) tight-knit family. Family-owned business. Been coming here for over 10 years. Really good people,” longtime customer Elijah Gallizia said. “They have really good food. I come here all the time to get sesame chicken.”
Bentley said the explosion remains under investigation, but the cause will probably ultimately be determined by insurance company investigators in the weeks to come.
Bentley told Winne that there was no major damage to the building.
