DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police have arrested three people in connection with an illegal street racing takeover on one of metro Atlanta’s busiest interstates.
Video posted to YouTube shows the racers turning I-285 into a racetrack near the Glenwood Road exit.
It also shows drivers doing burnouts, donuts, and racing down I-285.
You can see moving cars just inches away from people with their phones out, capturing it all on camera.
Others are seen standing along the exit ramps.
Now, three people are facing charges. DeKalb County police said they arrested one of the drivers, Naysean Lee, 24, and have charged him with promoting/organizing street racing, bald tires, illegal window tint, and driving without valid decals.

Two of his passengers are also facing charges stemming from the incident.
Tariq Lumley, 23, and Tymel Mabry, 27, have been charged with promoting/organizing street racing.
Investigators said the three were stopped following the racing incident and were found with a high-definition camera consistent with equipment used to record videos in their car.
“Street takeovers create an unacceptable danger to motorists, pedestrians, and the communities we serve. The DeKalb County Police Department continues to take a proactive approach to preventing this type of activity through targeted enforcement, intelligence gathering, and coordinated operational strategies,” the department said in a previous statement.
The latest arrests come in addition to the arrest of Ruben Tejada Arevalo from that night. He has been charged with promoting/organizing drag racing, reckless stunt driving, felony fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, and illegal window tint.
