ATLANTA — All lanes of Interstate 75/85 northbound in midtown Atlanta are shut down for a deadly crash investigation.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields reports the crash happened just before 5 a.m. near North Avenue exit. Shields has since learned that a person was hit and killed by a vehicle.
It could be hours before the lanes reopen. Traffic is being diverted at the Peachtree Street exit.
Channel 2 Action News has reached out to Atlanta Fire Rescue and Atlanta police to confirm if anyone else was injured in the crash.
