Comeback kids: Braves win NL East division for 5th straight season

MIAMI — The Atlanta Braves have been chasing the New York Mets the entire season, but finally caught up in the division. The weekend sweep guaranteed the tiebreaker would go to Atlanta if the season ended in a tie.

The tiebreaker scenario is no longer needed.

The Braves won the NL East division for the fifth straight season after they defeated the Marlins 2-1 in Miami.
