COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta cat rescue organization is asking for the public’s help after a cat that was available for adoption was allegedly stolen from a Cobb County Petco store.
According to Ponce de Leon Cat Rescue, surveillance video shows a man placing a cat named Peggy into a carrier before leaving the store.
Why the group is concerned for the cat’s welfare, LIVE on Channel 2 Action News starting at 4 p.m.
The rescue group says the man and another person also stole pet supplies before leaving.
Peggy had been staying at the store as part of the rescue’s adoption program when she disappeared.
