UPDATE: Cobb 14-year-old who vanished after meeting someone online found safe

MARIETTA — Cobb County police said a 14-year-old girl who vanished after meeting an unknown man online has been found safe.

Emorie Jalila Sharae Williams vanished from her home in Marietta on April 27.

According to her family, she met someone online in the days before she vanished and they were concerned that she may have been a victim of trafficking.

Police did not reveal how she was found or whether anyone is facing any charges.

Police did not say where Williams was when she was found or if she has been reunited with her family.
