COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Cobb County man is in jail after being accused of assaulting two women and spitting on a police officer.
According to court records, Jordan Scott Lieber got into a physical altercation with his grandmother and threw her to the ground twice, then pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her.
When his mother tried to intervene, he pointed a gun at her as well, saying he wanted to kill them both.

Officers arrived at the scene to take Lieber into custody and during that process, Lieber spit on the officer as hew as placed in the back of a patrol vehicle.
Lieber’s grandmother suffered minor injuries, according to arrest warrants.
After the incident, Lieber was taken to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, simple battery under the Georgia Family Violence Act, simple battery on a police officer and exploiting an elderly person.
Lieber remains in jail without bond, according to jail records.
