COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta woman is accused of setting a store on fire and leaving the building visibly damaged by fire.
Court records in Cobb County say Bridget Boyd is accused of going to a shopping center on Cobb Parkway and using lighter fluid and a disposable lighter to set the building on fire.
The court record says the building’s front wall was scorched and charred.
Boyd was taken into custody facing a second degree arson charge, which is a felony.
A judge denied Boyd bond and she remains in jail, with a judge citing her being a danger to people or the community.
