FOREST PARK, Ga. — A 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after being shot in the leg in Forest Park, according to the Clayton County Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 2:40 p.m. to the 400 block of Sylvia Drive following a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located the injured victim and emergency responders took him to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
As of Saturday, no suspect was in custody and police have not publicly identified any potential suspects or motives related to the incident.
