JONESBORO, Ga. — Clayton County Police Department said one man died Sunday afternoon after a shooting at a Jonesboro home.
Police responded at about 1:08 p.m. to the 700 block of Dixon Road in Jonesboro, where they found a man shot.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries.
A person is in custody. Clayton County PD said the circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
The identities of the person who was killed and the person detained haven’t been disclosed.
