Clayton County man shot dead while walking home from music studio, police say

FOREST PARK, Ga. — Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man as he walked away from a music studio in Forest Park.

Clayton County police say they were called to the 4700 block of Price Street Thursday afternoon where they found 20-year-old Nehemiah Givan lying between two buildings suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Two witnesses told investigators they were walking home from a music studio when a white SUV pulled up next to them and began shooting before driving away.

They said Givan then tried to run, but collapsed where police found him on Price Road. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police have not released any information on potential suspects at this time.
