CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Students who attend Clayton County Schools will spend more time indoors on Thursday because of the heat.
The district announced this morning that it is canceling all outdoor-related activities during school hours. That includes physical education, recess and other outdoor activities.
As for athletics, Clayton County Schools say teams should follow the “Red Level” protocol established by Georgia High School Association.
We’re checking with other school districts on how they’re tackling the heat, for Channel 2 Action News starting at 4:00 p.m.
