No rain is in the forecast.

Jeras says the metro Atlanta area is “stuck” for now between high pressure northwest of the metro Atlanta region and a developing coastal low near North Carolina.

That developing low has a chance of taking on some tropical or subtropical characteristics.

Either way, Jeras says the impacts would be the same.

It will linger near the North Carolina, Virginia coast through at least midweek.

That will help keep our flow more Northeasterly and keep us dry with no rain in sight.
