Chance for flash flooding as scattered rain remains in metro Atlanta area

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon is tracking rain across the metro Atlanta area.

Deon says there will be scattered rain, producing areas of heavy rain, which could lead to localized flash flooding.

Temperatures on Sunday are much cooler, with highs in the 70s.

The wet weather will continue into early Monday, with isolated showers and storms possible before things dry out.

Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 70s, near 80 degrees.

Tuesday through Friday is expected to be mainly dry with cool mornings and warm afternoons, according to Deon.
