Man shot and killed at hibachi restaurant in Clayton County

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Clayton County say a man was shot and killed inside a restaurant. The shooting happened at American Wings & Hibachi along Highway 138 near Lake Ridge Parkway in Riverdale.

Clayton County police confirmed they are currently investigating a homicide.

Police said when they arrived at American Wings & Hibachi on Wednesday afternoon, they found the victim on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Two windows of American Wings & Hibachi were shattered.

Multiple police cruisers were parked outside the businesses. A half-dozen police officers were on the scene.

A small crowd gathered on the outside beyond the police tape.
