Beyoncé adds second date in Atlanta for Renaissance tour, fans need to register by tonight

ATLANTA — Beyoncé fans in Atlanta will now have two shows to try and snag tickets for her Renaissance tour.

In a post on Instagram on Wednesday, the singer shared a photo of herself on the back of a silver horse and said simply, “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023.” The tour includes a stop at Mercedes Benz Stadium on Friday, Aug. 11.

On Thursday, Beyonce and Ticketmaster announced a second concert in Atlanta and five other cities because of the huge demand. The second stop will be on Saturday, Aug. 12.

After the controversy with Ticketmaster and Taylor Swift, the Renaissance tour will use Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system for the new dates. Fans can register until 11:59 p.m. tonight here.

Ticketmaster added the extra dates because fan demand for the first shows already exceeds the number of available tickets by more than 800%.

“To help meet demand for this first group of dates going on sale, six shows have now been added based on venue and scheduling availabilities around the time of the tour,” a release said. “Even with these added dates, it is still expected that the majority of interested fans will not be able to get tickets because demand drastically exceeds supply.”

Ticketmaster said in a release that sales will begin Feb. 6 for fans who registered. Sale times will vary based on city.
