ATLANTA — Georgia voters have until midnight to register to vote in this year’s midterm elections.
On the ballot for the November elections are multiple statewide offices, including who will be the next Governor of Georgia, as well as a U.S. Senate seat.
The official deadline to register to vote is Oct. 5 at midnight, so the time left to make sure you can cast your ballot is close to closing.

After the registration deadline, the next step in Georgia’s elections is the early voting period, which starts Oct. 13 and continues through Oct. 30.
The official election day this year is Nov. 3.
