ATLANTA — Police are searching for a man they say shot a woman several times before tossing her out of a car and trying to shoot her again.
Earlier this week, officers responded to Murphy Ave. and Osborne St. and found a woman who had been shot several times. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators say a man and woman were sitting in the car together when he started shooting her.

They say he then pulled her out of the car and tried to shoot her again, but the gun jammed.
Police are now releasing surveillance footage of the moment he tried shooting her on the ground.
In the video, he can be seen trying to fix the gun before getting back in the car and shutting the passenger door, leaving her on the ground outside.
