Police say a traffic stop led to a multi-agency drug investigation and the recovery of about 495 grams of methamphetamine.
Canon police said the stop happened Sept. 23 in the area of SR-17 and Spring Street with help from the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers used a K9 during the stop and found what police described as a trafficking amount of methamphetamine in the vehicle.
Police identified the people in the vehicle as Clifton Ellison and Jeremy Davis, both of Elberton, Ga.

Authorities are holding both men at the Franklin County Detention Center and say they also face charges in Elbert County.
During that search, law enforcement found another trafficking amount of methamphetamine at the home, according to police.
Officers also arrested a woman at the property on possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects.
Police said investigators recovered about 495 grams of methamphetamine, prescription medication, and multiple drug-related objects during the investigation.
