According to a Nextdoor post, Cross was headed to drop the cats off at a friend’s house so they would be cared for while he rushed to see his dying father in Canada.

The cats, named Blaze, Bella and Bodie, “are his life,” the post read. Blaze and Bella require daily medical assistance. All three are microchipped.

The group following the post on Nextdoor banded together for a search Sunday but didn’t find the cats. They’ve had around 200 posters and flyers made to distribute.
