Powerball jackpot rises to $680 million after no one wins Monday night

ATLANTA — Monday wasn’t anyone’s lucky night when it came to the Powerball drawing.

No ticket matched the winning numbers for the $610 million jackpot. That means Wednesday night’s drawing will be for $680 million.

The next Powerball drawing will happen Wednesday just before WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on Channel 2.

Monday could be your lucky night with $610 million up for grabs in the Powerball drawing.

It has been more than 11 weeks and 34 consecutive drawings without a winner, so the jackpot has been rising and rising.

The Powerball drawing will happen just before WSB Tonight at 11 p.m. on Channel 2.

If you’re the big winner and choose the cash option, you’d get a payout of $326.1million, which is still a pretty good payday.

Kiss Williams told Channel 2′s Berndt Petersen that if she wins big, she’s keeping her lips sealed.

“I’m gonna keep it quiet,” she said. “Nobody’s business but mine.”

Georgia is one of 11 states that allows lottery winners who win more than $250,000 to remain anonymous.

“There it is, guys! This is the winning ticket,” Williams exclaimed.

She told Petersen her name, but when she wins, don’t bother looking for her.

“I don’t need the extra cousins and aunties coming out...They’ll try, but I’ll be long gone,” she said.
