It’s unclear exactly how long the location will be closed during its rebuilding.

The company says it will add a second drive-thru lane and install permanent canopies to create a faster and more efficient ordering process and make its kitchen larger.

Meanwhile, northeast Atlanta will soon get a new Chick-fil-A at the intersection of Boulevard Northeast and Ponce de Leon Avenue.

No time frame was provided for when that location will open.
