Police release photos of second person of interest in death of 8-year-old Secoriea Turner

ATLANTA — Atlanta police have released new images of a second person of interest in the death of 8-year-old Secoriea Turner.

Turner was shot and killed as she road in a car with her mother and a friend on July 4th near the now-infamous Wendy’s where Rayshard Brooks died.

The driver was trying to turn around after encountering illegal barriers when a group of armed men confronted him and opened fire into the car.

Photos released Sunday night show a man on surveillance footage carrying an AR-15.

Police previously released images and video of another they said was a person of interest. It’s unclear how the two men are connected.

Protesters had been occupying the Wendy's since Brooks' death at the hands of Atlanta police June 12 -- although protesters have said the armed men were not part of their group, which was gathering peacefully.

Police offering a reward of up to $20,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest.

There is a public viewing for Turner on Tuesday. Media mogul Tyler Perry is paying for her funeral.
