Person hit by train in Atlanta dies

ATLANTA — Atlanta police responded to a call of a person hit by a train.

The accident was reported Saturday afternoon at Lee Street SW and West Whitehall Street SW.

Police say the victim has been transported by EMS in critical condition. The victim later died at the hospital.
