The extension would take the streetcar along the busiest part of the Atlanta BeltLine and into midtown, ending near Ponce City Market.
Channel 2 Action News has done extensive reporting on how ridership is very low for the streetcar as well as a movement to bring light rail along the Atlanta BeltLine.
MARTA will host an in-person meeting about the extension on Sept. 12 at Dad’s Garage, at 569 Ezzard St. A virtually meeting will be held on Sept. 13 on Zoom. CLICK HERE for more information about the meetings.
