ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a stabbing that injured a man.
At about 1:46 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at 1083 Westview Drive SW.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
Police said that a known suspect was fighting with another person when the victim intervened and was stabbed.
Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
Their investigation continues.
