Janet Jackson’s Thursday concert pushed back because of Hawks-Celtics Game 6

ATLANTA — Janet Jackson’s Thursday concert at State Farm Arena has been rescheduled after the Atlanta Hawks’ late-game heroics extended their series with the Boston Celtics.

With the Hawks’ last-second upset 119-117 win over the Celtics, State Farm Arena will now host Game 6 of that series on Thursday, instead of Jackson’s concert. Instead, Jackson’s concert will be on Friday.

We are committed to ensuring all of our guests have a great night out at each of our events and are working with our partners to provide the most seamless experience possible,” said State Farm Arena Executive Vice President of Arena Programming Trey Feazell.

All tickets for Jackson’s Thursday night’s show will be honored for Friday night’s show, according to a news release from the Hawks and State Farm Arena.

Refunds will be available for those who are unable to attend.
