Here is what to expect for Biden’s visit to Atlanta

ATLANTA — President Joe Biden will be in Atlanta Sunday to celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.

The President plans to speak at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Martin Luther King Jr. once preached, and attend the church’s special service led by United States Senator Raphael Warnock.

White House officials said Air Force One is expected to land in Atlanta around 10:15 a.m.

Drivers should expect delays as the president makes his way to Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 101 Jackson St NE.

When he arrives, President Biden will deliver remarks about the significance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day around 11 a.m.

The last time the president was in Atlanta, he traveled with Vice President Kamala Harris in Jan. 2022 to discuss voting rights.

Drivers can again expect traffic delays when the president leaves the church in the early afternoon.
