Georgia-shot ‘Stranger Things’ continues to break records as final episodes of Season 4 drop

ATLANTA — The hit Netflix series “Stranger Things” continues to break records.

Season 4 of the show has now accumulated over one billion hours in viewership. It’s the first English-language series to ever do so.

It’s also the second-most watched series in any language behind the Korean hit show “Squid Games” — but that could change.

The show still has two final episodes that have about three weeks left to rack up more viewing hours.

Much of “Stranger Things” was shot here in metro Atlanta.
