Family searches for missing 84-year-old man with dementia

ATLANTA — A frantic search is underway for a missing 84-year-old man with dementia.

Marvin "Bobby" Holimon wandered from his home overnight and hasn't been seen since.

His family is scouring the neighborhood on Stephanie Drive in southwest Atlanta handing out flyers and hoping someone in the area spots their beloved family member.

Holimon suffers from dementia and his children said he take turns staying with them.

Channel 2’s Audrey Washington learned one of Holimon’s adult sons was with him last night and when the son woke up, he was gone.

"Before he had dementia he was an avid walker,” said his daughter, Lakeisha Randall. “He used to walk around the neighborhood and Greenbriar Mall so we're canvassing that area to chase around his paths."
