Woman found safe after doorbell camera footage shows man dragging her to SUV

ATLANTA — A woman has been found safe after doorbell camera footage showed her being dragged from an Atlanta home to an SUV.

Atlanta police said that around 11 p.m., officers responded to a call about a possible kidnapping on Commercial Avenue.

Investigators pulled doorbell camera footage from the home, which showed a man and a woman in an SUV who appeared to get into a fight.

What police are now telling us about the woman’s whereabouts, LIVE starting on Channel 2 Action News at 4 p.m.

The woman got out of the vehicle and walked to a nearby home where she started ringing the doorbell, police said.

Doorbell camera video shows the man walk up to the home, grab the woman by the arms and forcefully drag her back into he SUV.

Officers said they believe the man and the woman know each other. The woman was found to be safe and in good health. Police are still working to determine the details surrounding this incident.
