Delta officials tell Channel 2 Action News the incident happened around 10 p.m. involving one plane heading to Pensacola and the other to Los Angeles. They said the incident was a “low-speed, minor contact” next to each jet’s respective departure gates.

Delta says they had to find another flight for passengers on each plane, but all have made it to their respective destinations. The airline says their maintenance teams are checking both aircraft to make sure there was not damage and the incident has had no impact on schedules or operations.
