A 3-year-old boy died Tuesday after he accidentally shot himself in the head in southwest Atlanta.
Atlanta police confirmed the boy’s death to Channel 2 Action News around 4 p.m. this afternoon.
The shooting happened off Manor Lane around 11 a.m. The child was taken to Hue Spalding Hospital, where he later died from her injury.
The child’s mother and boyfriend are cooperating with police as the investigation continues.
