ATLANTA — Police say a man and a woman were shot Sunday night in the parking lot of a combination KFC/Taco Bell in southwest Atlanta.
The shooting happened on Bakers Ferry Road around 8:15 p.m. Police found a man who had been shot in the head and a woman who was shot in the leg. Both were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The female victim is stable. The man’s condition is unclear.
Police say the couple was in a car when two men walked up and shot into the car multiple times.
The shooters are still on the run.
Police say they are searching for a maroon SUV.
