Friends and family are now rallying around this southwest Atlanta woman who they are calling a warrior after being run over twice. She managed to escape any head trauma or internal bleeding, suffering only broken bones.

The ring video from Saturday afternoon shows Suzanne Hill pulling out of her driveway onto Beecher Road, then briefly stopping to get out to lock her back gate. That’s when someone jumped in her car.

Rawlins spoke to Hill’s husband, Michael, who describes the moment she was carjacked.

“As she was doing that, a guy ran up, jumped into the car,… and she went to the side of the car to try to get him out,” said Michael. “He swung the car into her and knocked her to the ground and ran over her-- and then ran over her again.”

He says his wife is expected to survive and is currently recovering at the hospital.

“She’s in recovery mode. Obviously, it was a very traumatic incident,” said Michael.

“I’m just grateful that she is still here. She can’t use her arms. How maddening it would be to not be able to scratch her nose? It’s going to be hard for her knowing that she needs help all of the time,” said the victim’s friend Oria Kunin.
