Atlanta rapper sees the ‘The Bigger Picture’ in giving back to the community

ATLANTA — Atlanta rapper Lil Baby teamed up with Foot Locker Atlanta to do some work in the community. Together, they worked to refurbish a basketball court at a park in the Oakland City section of Atlanta.

Oakland City is located on Atlanta’s west side, nestled between the historic West End and Capitol View neighborhoods.

The newly updated court will be the highlight of Oakland City Park. This will provide a place for many of the area’s youth to congregate after school or on weekends or to just hone their basketball skills.

Investments like this are important, especially in communities like Oakland City.

The court features a unique royal blue design trimmed in bright white striping, complete with the signature of Grammy-nominated rapper Lil baby.

The rapper also gifted more than 200 bicycles to children in attendance at the unveiling.
