According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, when police arrived at the location they found a Ford F-250 that had crashed into the guard shack. The officer then tried to make contact with the driver, 39-year-old Jamario Duffy, but he did not respond. The officer then went to the driver’s side of the truck, opened the door and Duffy attempted to drive off but was unable to.

The officer started to give Duffy commands to get out of the truck, and that is when Duffy got out of the truck and attacked the officer, the GBI said.
