Lt. Germain Dearlove of the homicide unit for the Atlanta Police Department told Channel 2 that police believe the victim witnessed men trying to take a Mercedes-Benz in the parking lot.

It is unknown if the car belonged to the victim or someone else. The victim was shot and died at the hospital, officials say.

Police believe they are looking for two or three suspects, but did not have a full description.

Dearlove said the suspects’ vehicle is a silver sedan, which was last seen traveling westbound on 14th Street. The investigation is ongoing.
