ATLANTA — Bottoms up!

An Atlanta brewery is teaming up with some good people to honor Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

Best End Brewery, which is located in the West End, released the new beer last week. It’s called Started from the Bottoms.

The beer was named for the Atlanta mayor for her handling of the recent protests and managing the COVID-19 crisis in the city.

“Over the past few weeks and days, we have been in awe of our mayor. Her handling of the myriad of difficult situations she has had to navigate has inspired us, so we decided to name our newest beer, an amber lager, in honor of her and the work she has done for the great city of Atlanta,” the brewery said.

The brewery is partnering with the United Way for the new release, and they will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the United Way of Greater Atlanta and United Way of New York City.

The brewery posted a picture of the new beer on Facebook, which is a limited release amber lager. They said she is a powerful voice and a brave leader.

“Madame Mayor, you continue to be a guiding light, a brave leader, and a powerful voice. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you,” the brewery said.

Started from the Bottoms now we're here. So stoked to partner with United Way of Greater Atlanta and United Way of New...
