ATLANTA — As the Atlanta Dream gear up for their first WNBA Finals appearance since 2013, they are hoping to get one of their stars back in time.

Guard Allisha Gray missed part of the semifinals after she suffered a hand injury. On Tuesday, Gray confirmed to Channel 2’s Alison Mastrangelo that she had a minor procedure on her left hand.
She is listed as day-to-day for the Dream, who start the WNBA Finals Saturday on the road against the Golden State Valkyries. Gray didn’t say if the procedure was surgical, but she is eager to get back on the court.
Gray went through shooting drills at Gateway Center on Tuesday with her left ring finger and pinky tapped together.
