GREENE COUNTY, Ga. — The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are searching for the person who killed a man in a road rage shooting.
Officials said they received a 911 call at around 6:45 a.m. Friday about car accident on Interstate 20 near mile marker 132.
When they arrived, deputies found the body of Joseph Briggs, of Manning, South Carolina, inside his car. The 30-year-old had several gunshot wounds.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office called in the GBI to assist with the investigation. They determined that Briggs was a victim of road rage.
A suspect has not been identified.
